Today's post is dedicated to fellow meso blogger Tess, who lost her valiant fight against mesothelioma on last Thursday, 28 August.
We met in the cyber world, through the Facebook meso groups. Steve and I have followed her blog Targets (link on the right) regularly since then, joining in the virtual celebration every time she achieved a new target!
We also had the pleasure of meeting Tess and husband Alan in the flesh at the Mesothelioma Patient and Carers Day in Leicester last October. We had hoped to see them there again this year, but sadly that is not to be.
The death of every meso warrior touches us, but loosing someone whose life we have shared through her blog and who has touched us quite literally with her warm embrace is especially sad.
Our hearts go out to Alan, her children, grandchildren, wider family and friends.
For Tess, with love x
